Take a Drink of His Love

Last night, I had a dream/vision that I want to share with you.  This vision lingered for a long while.  The Lord wanted me to take special note of everything I saw.  In the vision, I saw a white glazed glass.  It was holding a white liquid and a big red heart.  The heart was colored a bright and vibrant red.  An artery was sticking up as if it were a straw.  The background was all white and very soft.

I went immediately to the book, “Understanding the Dreams you Dream” Volume I by Ira Milligan.  I went to the section on color.  White means pure, without mixture, unblemished, truth and innocence.  Red means passion, emotion, enthusiasm and zeal.  God offering us a drink everybody.  It is a drink of His holy and passionate love. As I prayed further into the interpretation of the vision, the Lord led me to Song of Songs 5:1.

“I have come into my garden, my sister, my [promised] bride; I have gathered my myrrh with my balsam and spice [from your sweet words I have gathered riches perfumes and spices].  I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk.  Eat O friends [feast on, O revelers of the palace; you can never make my lover disloyal to me]!  Drink, yes, drink abundantly of love, O precious one [for now I know you are mine, irrevocably mine!  With his confident words still thrilling her heart, through the lattice she saw her shepherd turn away and disappear into the night].”
(Amplified Version)

Oh church, meditate on this verse.  It makes all of the trials and testings pale in comparison with His incredible drink of love that He is offering us.

I followed the reference at the end of the verse which is John 16:33.

“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence.  In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]!  For I have overcome the world.  [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]  (Amplified version)

We don’t have a thing to worry about.  He has overcome it all!  Oh, Lord, give us the strength and grace to press into this overcoming power of Your love and security.  May we ever be enveloped in Your loving arms, resting in the joy and bliss you offer.  AMEN
